Farewell | OWENDALE LEMON TWIST

11 November 1997 - 22 July 2023 One of the most cherished horses at Mulawa was laid to rest on Saturday. OWENDALE LEMON TWIST, beloved throughout the equine community as simply ‘TWISTER’, enjoyed his final afternoon on a wonderfully warm and sunny winter day surrounded by those who loved him most. Purchased in 2005 for a young Kate Farrell (then 10 years old), TWISTER was already a highly accomplished show horse at the highest level of open competition in Australia at eight years of age. With Kate in the saddle, TWISTER began competing at Arabian events, first as an Arabian Riding Pony, and later as an Arabian Pony, accruing eight Australian National Championships in just two years. Homebred Success at Dressage By The Sea 2020

Hosted at the incomparable world-class venue of Willinga Park on the South Coast of NSW, Dressage by the Sea 2020 was a true highlight of Team Performance's competition calendar this year. Held over a fortnight, Dressage by the Sea remains Australia's only back-to-back CDI 4* featuring two stellar dressage events. Fantastic Results from the 2020 Boneo Classic

With the generous support of naming rights sponsor Homes & Acreage, Boneo Park hosted the outstanding event that was the 2020 Boneo Classic from the 23 rd to the 26 th of January. Once again our team was thrilled to be able to compete at this gorgeous venue; enjoying its world-class facilities, immaculate competition surfaces and beautiful surroundings. At this year’s event Team Performance fielded three combinations: in the CDI 3*** Big Tour were  Luxor 118 (DE) with Kate Farrell and  Larenso (DK) with Riley Alexander, and in the 4YO Young Horse Class  Aber Fontaine MI with our Performance Coach John Thompson. This was also the first time Kate, John and Riley have competed side-by-side in the Big Tour field

MI Sirtainly Sir & Riley Alexander Receive Honours From Equestrian NSW

It is with great pleasure that we congratulate Performance Head Trainer Riley Alexander on his immense success throughout the 2019 competition season which has recently culminated in receiving top honours from   Equestrian NSW , attaining the title of  2019 Senior Athlete of the Year . In addition we're incredibly proud to share that our exceptional Team Ambassador  MI SIRTAINLY SIR   (aka Andy) has also been recognised by Equestrian NSW - receiving the accolade of 2019 Dressage Horse of the Year . Riley and Andy have trained and competed as a partnership since 2018, entirely dedicating themselves to improving from one performance to the next. Team Performance Shines at the 2019 Boneo Park Spring CDI

Held over three spectacular days at the world-class venue of Boneo Park on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, the 2019 Spring CDI was enjoyed by a tremendous number of competitors and spectators alike. Team Performance Success at the 2019 NSW Dressage Championships

Held over five consecutive days at the Australian Equestrian and Livestock Centre in Tamworth, the 2019 NSW Dressage Championships proved to be an immensely successful event for Team Performance. The venerable and internationally regarded dressage event that is the Sydney CDI saw very competitive fields entered in each of the classes offered at this year’s show. Sydney CDI 2017 | Fantastic Results

Congratulations to Mulawa Performance on the outstanding results achieved at the 2017 Sydney CDI this weekend.  Katharine Farrell & LUXOR 118 , after a few months off recovering from an injury, have finished the prestigious competition with an undefeated record. On Thursday, the pair scored 69.04 from the international panel to win the Mulawa Performance FEI CDI-U25 Intermediate II. The following day, LUXOR & Kate scored a 68.744 to win the Mulawa Performance FEI CDI-U25 Grand Prix. Today, making it a clean sweep and three for three, the pair returned to score an impressive 72.35 in the Mulawa Performance FEI CDI-U25 Grand Prix Freestyle, finishing with a very comfortable lead ahead of the nearest

Equestrian NSW Dressage Awards

Exciting news from the annual Equestrain NSW Awards Ceremony! The highest honour of the night was ABER HALLO 29 winning the award for Dressage Horse of the Year. Along with ABER HALLO's prestigious award, Julie, Katharine & Jane Farrell were honoured as Equestrian NSW Dressage Owners of the Year. With high calibre performance horses such as ABER HALLO 29, LUXOR 118 and FURSTIN FRIENDSHIP competing with Brett on their behalf, Julie, Jane & Katharine have been regulars at Dressage events across the state this past season.

2013 CDI Sydney | Mulawa Success

Mulawa is pleased to report success at Australia's premier Dressage event - the CDI Sydney. The star for Team Mulawa was LUXOR 118, an 11 year old Hannoverian gelding imported from Germany. With rider Katharine Farrell aboard, LUXOR won the Horseland FEI Young Rider Individual Test (CD-Y). Brett Parberry was also hard at work at CDI Sydney with ABER HALLO 29, a nine-year old dark bay Westphalian stallion also imported from PSI. The promising pair finished a strong third in the Mulawa Performance FEI Intermediate I (CDI) and the Needs for Steeds FEI Prix St Georges competition, as well as the Zilco Intermediate Freestyle CDN.

Dressage with the Stars - Successive Success

For the second year in a row, Team Mulawa Performance was victorious at Dressage with the Stars, the 10th annual event in Werribee, Victoria. In the toughest competition for young Dressage horses on the continent, Arabian Warmblood mare SUGARLOAF SIRHARA was named Champion Five Year Old with an excellent score of 9.0 for Ridability from UK-based and South African born Emile Faurie. SIRARA was also the highest scoring Dressage horse of the show with an excellent score of 82.4%. On Saturday evening competing against both the champion four and six year olds from their respective divisions, SIRHARA was named Australian Young Dressage Horse Champion of Champions to the thundering approval of the crowd.
