The year following after of the loss of AMBITON, Mulawa once again began to search for that special individual. Greg was determined to find a stallion who was himself a dynamic individual, yet had the genetic strength to cross well over the AMBITION daughters and the Mulawa foundation mares. He was looking for a stallion with an exceptional length of neck, a strong hip and a lot of leg, with great movement and a celebrated pedigree. The stallion destined to make a name for himself at Mulawa was WARRANTY. 

A son of US National Champion stallion ALADDINN and US National Champion mare WIZJA, WARRANTY was an extremely stylish, well conformed individual of great quality, honestly reflecting both his dam’s timeless beauty and show ring brilliance, as well as his sire’s strength and structural integrity. The exquisite WIZJA had been close to the Arabian ideal for Greg Farrell since first seeing her in 1977, as she, in all ways, exemplified the perfect picture of an Arabian mare. ALADDINN's achievements as a sire are, of course, incomparable, the results of which have exalted him to legendary status and recognition as one of the most important sires in the history of the Arabian breed. To have a son of this celebrated and legendary twosome take his place in our breeding program was a dream come true. We first leased, then purchased, WARRANTY from the LaCroix family of Lasma Arabians. 

WARRANTY arrived in Australia in 1987 and in November of that year he was judged Champion Stallion and Supreme Exhibit at the New South Wales National Stud show by renowned horseman Kit Hall. The National is the largest All-Arabian show in the Southern Hemisphere and was the third largest show in the world at the time (behind Scottsdale and US Nationals). WARRANTY's performance was electrifying - big, bold and dynamic, he dominated the arena and gathered a crowd wherever he appeared. 

In January of 1988, WARRANTY was awarded the title of Australian Champion Stallion under judge Lenore Wilson. (Australia used one judge for its championship show at that time as opposed to the three-judge system it uses now). With Greg Farrell on the end of the lead, it was once again a wonderful demonstration of what the Arabian show horse should be. 

WARRANTY remained at MULAWA until 1990, when he was exported back to his homeland to pursue a performance career in the English division. Under the capable guidance of Gordon Potts, WARRANTY was awarded several regional championships as well as the Canadian National Reserve Championship in Country English Pleasure. He was then sold to long-time admirer Grace Greenlee of Sans Souci Arabians in North Carolina. 

Though WARRANTY was only in Australia for a very short period of time, his influence within the Mulawa program remains important. Many of the very best athletes produced from the program carry the WARRANTY influence, including bona fide performance superstar MURRAHALA MIKOVA. The WARRANTY impact is also present in two of the Mulawa dam families through the important broodmatrons MULAWA ANGELICA and JIAH ASPIRE. 

The most important son of WARRANTY was unquestionably WANTED KE, out of the Mulawa-bred FEATURE (Ambition x Dzina by Buszmen). Bred and owned by the King family of King Estate International, WANTED KE became a true stallion of significance, winning championships at the East Coast, National Stud Show & Queensland Challenge, and leaving a legacy of significant get that continue to shine. 

We feel very blessed to have shared in the life and the legacy of this important stallion for a brief period of time, and are grateful for his lasting influence within the program and Australian industry at large.
